The wedding season is definitely on. In order to have a flawless wedding in May, June, or whenever you feel like it’s the perfect moment, you need to do many things in advance. You need to invest your time and effort into planning. Since we are advised to stay home and limit our interactions, we can focus on some of the wedding tasks we can do from the couch.

Here’s a list of wedding planning tasks you can easily check off while sitting comfortably on your couch.

1. Seek Wedding Inspiration

The Internet is an oasis when it comes to finding the right inspiration and ideas. Instead of going from store to store (which is actually something you can’t do at the moment), you can look up everything online. Wedding style, floral arrangements, wedding dress, tux, wedding bands, cakes, and a lot more can be found online, among Pinterest boards and specialized magazines. This will help you come up with your own vision for your wedding ceremony.

2. Write Down Your Guest List

Before you actually get yourself to do it, you’ll probably think that this is the easiest of all tasks. However, once you start naming your guests, your future husband’s guests, and include the people suggested by both of your families, you’ll realize that this is not as easy as it seems. That’s why you should start planning your guest list as soon as possible. The number of guests will impact everything else you need to organize and settle. You can’t pick a venue or hire catering until you know the exact number of guests.  Start as soon as you can before you will revise the guest list several times before you conclude it.

3. Check Out What People Say About Possible Vendors

We all know those few places in our cities that are just perfect for the wedding reception. Listing the possible venues is the least of your problems. But, picking the right one is a big decision that can shape the entire wedding ceremony vibe. Reading other people’s reviews can help you make the final decision and pick the place of choice. You can easily find out everything you want to know by reading online reviews and comments people made. This is yet another activity you can do from the comfort of your couch.

4. Choose Your Wedding Transportation

The wedding car is as important as your three-tier wedding cake. It plays an important role and it also reveals your sense of style and portrays your personality as well. You will probably take a lot of wedding photos standing next to this car, so make sure you go for something luxurious that fits your budget.
Most people in Australia know how to make a statement with their wedding transportation. Luxury wedding cars in Sydney like Jaguar or vintage Rolls Royce are some of their choices and you can also choose something similar for your wedding. You can easily pick your favorite car while you sit on your couch as they will be nothing short of magnificent even live.

5. Create Your Wedding Registry

This is yet another activity ideal for quarantine time because a)it has to be done, and b)it’s also fun. Put your favorite music on first. Create the proper setting so you’ll enjoy the entire process even more. Choose the online registry you wish to sign up for. Then, make a list of things you wish to receive among your gifts. Write it all down and then proceed to find all those items online. Create a backup list of items if you have more guests then you have presented in your wedding registry.

6. Write Down Your Vows

The best speeches are written when you have enough time to think about them and seek inspiration. You can agree with your partner on the style of your vows – whether to keep it short or medium length or long. Whatever you choose to do, keep it in mind that you shouldn’t leave this task last. So, keep a pen and a notepad near you and start writing when the inspiration hits. If your couch is the place where the inspiration lightning usually strikes, write your vow while you’re seated comfortably. Just remember to do it while your partner is busy with doing something in the other room so he or she won’t be tempted to sneak a peek.

Wedding planning is definitely a process that requires all your attention and energy. Make sure you start right away so that you can have the nuptial ceremony of your dreams.
