To put it simply, success doesn’t come to those who sit on their ass and do nothing. You have to want something, be willing to work for it, and not give up when shit gets hard! O.K., I had to start this list out somewhat passionately being that passion is something that’s a huge part of a successful mindset.

Create a Successful Mindset by Doing the Following:

  • Drink enough water.
  • Eat a balanced and healthy diet. Don’t deprive yourself or skip eating altogether. Being too busy is not an excuse for not eating.
  • Be physically active. Workout in some way for at least 15 minutes a day.

  • Don’t be so consumed with work that you don’t take care of yourself. Remember, balance and moderation are everything.
  • Make success a priority.
  • Have discipline and prioritize. Everything important to you should be treated as a priority.
  • Know what you want or at least have some idea of what you want.
  • Have goals and strive hard towards them. This means that you should have short term goals as well as long term goals and be willing to work towards them.
  • View dreams as attainable goals. Have a mindset of “I can accomplish anything if I go after it.”
  • Create a gameplan.
  • Put effort into everything.
  • Work hard.
  • Work hard, play hard.
  • Work more, party less.
  • Work for it.
  • Work for what you want.
  • Don’t expect overnight success.
  • Be an ambitious and passionate fireball. Be driven, energetic, and stay confident. You must believe in yourself as well as in what you’re doing.
  • When something doesn’t work, try a different method of making it work. Pushing the same button over and over won’t make it work better.
  • Don’t give up.
  • Don’t make excuses or be lazy.
  • Listen to the opinions of others and be open to change.
  • Be open to new methods of getting what you want.
  • Go to sleep early, wake up early, repeat.
  • Catnaps are essential. Getting an adequate amount of sleep is mandatory for success, and even more so when you use your brain a lot.

  • Write lists of things to do.
  • Be organized, set alarms, as well as reminders.
  • Think before making big decisions.
  • Think of consequences before making decisions.
  • Asking questions is imperative.
  • Do your research and learn from other successful people.
  • Successful people need to maintain their success, and not merely attain it.
  • Always choose short term darkness with long term light, rather than short term light and long term darkness. The easier route usually isn’t the best way longterm.
  • Have a balanced life – which is essential for long term success. Although many successful people will tell you otherwise, being that working nonstop is how they got to where they are. But you see, I’m sure their path was much more strenuous than it had to be on their path to success. Taking a breather, and creating a level of balance in their life would have brought about more happiness during their journey.
  • Never postpone.
  • There’s nothing wrong with changing or altering your goals – when you know what you want, you know.
  • If you fall or fail, get up again, and keep trying and pushing forward.
  • Be righteous. Have a righteous work ethic.
  • Give back, share light, wisdom, and experience with others. Especially, when they could use an emotional lift, a helpful hand, a shoulder, or a mental boost.
  • Learn how to ask, when to say yes, as well as how to say no.
  • Surround yourself with driven, kind, and likeminded individuals. Stay away from the partying type, the lazy type, and all toxic people including family. It’s better to be a hermit or have one to three great friends who are awesome individuals than to have a bunch of toxic people in your life who at the end of the day will distract you, bring you down, and take you off of your path to success.
  • Never settle. Get what you want.
  • Think and plan ahead.
  • Have a good attitude and stay optimistic.
  • Quitting or not trying is the easiest way to fail.
