Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic – Thoughts and Prayers



I wanted to spread some love and share my thoughts during this challenging time. 2020 has been quite intense, to say the least. Much has happened, many losses, and now with coronavirus (COVID -19), many of us are simply in shock and living a completely different type of lifestyle than we ever thought we’d be living. This is something the whole world is experiencing, better yet, enduring as a whole. May my words and heartfelt prayers bring comfort, peace, and may we be in solidarity and spread love and positive messages to everyone.

Don’t Panic, Be Cautious, Not Afraid.


Panic isn’t going to help in any situation. Try to control your anxiety and try different relaxation methods and techniques so you feel more at ease. I don’t know about any of you, but my level of anxiety has been skyrocketing lately, so I’ve been working on controlling it to whatever extent I can so I can cope with this new way of living. No one should have to live in fear. Be cautious though and do things to keep your emotions in check. “This too shall pass” is what we need to remember right now.

This Too Shall Pass

Is this the new normal? Many people are wondering. I feel that acceptance is what’s needed right now. It’s the new normal for right now. I accept it. We need to take everything one day at a time. This has been a lot to process for everyone. Think of the positives in our current situation as a whole, and think of the positives that you, me, and each one of us has. There are good things we have right now despite the hardships and many losses. If we focus on what we have and what we can do in our lives now and today, as opposed to what we lack or can’t do anymore (for the time being), we will be much happier, and healthier emotionally. And as you should know, our emotional health plays a big role in our immune system as well.

Let’s make the most out of our current situations even though we hope and pray to God that it is merely temporary. We need to have acceptance for what’s happened and happening, and all of these drastic changes to our every day lives, while we maintain our new cautious type of lifestyle, keep your chin up and maintain some level of optimism.

And good grief, there’s no need to hoard things such as toilet paper and baby wipes because of coronavirus. The grocery stores will keep replenishing them, and if we buy what we need, then others won’t be without any. Please, have a heart and a bit of empathy. 


Be kind to workers and all others. We all handle stress and anxiety in different ways. Have empathy and remember that, and try to be gentle and stay calm. You see, fear, stress, panic, and anxiety will only turn you into a complete monster and maniac IF YOU LET IT. So don’t let it control you. Control your emotions by connecting with yourself. Better time than ever being that we need to stay home more now. We are forced to look deeper within. Therefore, try to be more self-aware and conscious of your words and actions.

It’s important to focus on breathing in and breathing out, and take each day, one day at a time. We will get through this, apart, but together. Have faith, pray, and let’s take precautions whenever we can by practicing social distancing, standing 6 feet apart at least, and by staying home. Remember, short term darkness, long term light.

The 2020 Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic 


About a year and a half ago, I had pneumonia for about a month and a half. I struggled to breathe and was in the ER a couple of times. I wasn’t able to work out and be very active for almost a year because of the muscle strains etc., not to mention the fear it left from lack of oxygen. I felt very alone other than my kids who were so fkin amazing to me. I can honestly say that it was one of the worst things I’d gone through. Not being able to breathe is very scary. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, nor any sickness or pain for that matter.

As I see through my newsfeed on Facebook, there are many videos of people struggling to breathe who have coronavirus. It reminds me of when I was sick. I truly feel for those who are ill at this time and pray for their speedy recovery, Dear God.

Be Safe

If you smoke, quit. If you vape, quit. If you aren’t being more cautious and taking the best care of yourself at this time, please do so, as well as try to care for your loved ones by letting them know different ways of preventing the spread of coronavirus and what to do to help “hopefully,” prevent it.

  • Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, especially after you’ve been outside.
  • Use hand sanitizer.
  • Stay indoors unless you NEED to go out for something essential.
  • Avoid touching and rubbing your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Don’t isolate yourself because then you’ll wind up with depression, etc. Try to distance yourself from crowds with over ten people and stand at least six feet apart.



Stay indoors unless you need something essential, wash your hands thoroughly, and shower after arriving home “when” you go out. Keep your immune system strong by being active within your home, whether you’re doing squats, jumping jacks, push-ups, etc., be active. Take vitamin C and zinc, and drink warm liquids throughout the day. It’s not a good time to diet or intermediate fast in my opinion. Please be safe and know that despite my many posts on Facebook about toilet paper and things that hopefully make you smile and chuckle, I know this is very serious.
